## Overview

Most workplaces end up using more than one AI assistant, and the useful skill is knowing what each is good for. This course covers ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot side by side, beginning with how generative models work and what separates a prompt that returns something usable from one that returns filler. You will use ChatGPT for brainstorming, drafting, summarizing, and content work, and think through the practical and ethical limits as you go.

You will then move into ChatGPT's customization features, setting a tone that sounds like you, organizing work into projects, building Custom GPTs, and using voice, image generation, and deep research. The Copilot portion puts AI inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive, where it can act on the documents and messages you already have. By the end you will be able to compare ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and GitHub Copilot and route each task to the tool that handles it best.
