## Overview

Build practical, workplace-ready capability with Google Gemini at your own pace, moving from introductory prompts through to advanced workflows. You'll write effective prompts, handle files and multimedia, create custom Gems, and work with Canvas and Memory so context persists between sessions.

From there the course covers advanced prompting, including Deep Think mode and grounding through Google Search, and turns Deep Research reports into interactive deliverables. You'll use Gemini inside Google Workspace across Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, and Drive, build Audio Overviews and NotebookLM knowledge bases from your own sources, and automate work through Connected Apps, Scheduled Actions, and Workspace Studio. Guided exercises and a capstone project leave you with a personalized Gemini system suited to your role.

Participants already working in Google Workspace will draw the most from the Workspace-integrated exercises, but full participation only requires a Gemini subscription, since every exercise flags whether a feature depends on Workspace or runs on a standalone Gemini plan.
