# AI for the Workplace with Claude

Canonical URL: <https://training-nyc.com/courses/ai-workplace-claude>

## Overview

Over two days, participants move from opening their very first Claude chat to designing and operating a full AI workflow for everyday work. Along the way, they build and manage custom Projects, hook up useful tools, add Plugins suited to their role, and schedule automated tasks that take friction out of routine responsibilities. Instruction covers prompting across five practical use cases, the construction of Projects backed by persistent instructions and knowledge bases, and personalization through Artifacts, Styles, and Memory. Advanced collaboration methods, including chain-of-thought reasoning and the “You Ask Me” technique, help participants reach stronger and more consistent results.

The remainder of the course centers on Claude Cowork, the Anthropic desktop agent built to act directly on files and connected tools. Participants assemble a context system, set guardrails, link workplace integrations, add Plugins, and stand up recurring automations that match their role. A capstone closes the course, and in it each person maps out an end-to-end Claude system for their own job and walks away with a working deliverable ready for immediate use.
