## Overview

Copilot sits inside the software most offices already run on, which makes it one of the easier places to get real value out of AI. This course starts with what a large language model actually is and why it answers the way it does, then moves quickly into using Copilot on the work in front of you. You will practice writing prompts, reading what comes back with a critical eye, and steering the tool toward an answer you would be willing to put your name on.

From there you will work across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive, using Copilot to draft and tighten writing, summarize long documents, turn meeting notes into something useful, and get a spreadsheet to explain itself. You will also generate images, see where generative AI tends to fall down, and compare Copilot against ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot so you know which one to reach for and when.
