# Intermediate AutoCAD

## Overview

In this Intermediate AutoCAD Class, you will learn how to create and effectively set up templates by setting units, drawing limits, and scales, defining layouts for printing sheets and creating styles.

Note: This course is designed for PC users and our in-person classes are PC-only. Mac users may attend online, but should be aware that the Mac AutoCAD graphic interface is different from the PC version, which is what the instructor uses and what the class focuses on.

## What you'll learn

- Learn advanced layer techniques, working with tracking points and construction lines
- Create, edit and export blocks, and create tool palettes for storing and inserting blocks
- Customize layers in layout viewports for sheets

## Prerequisites

Attendees should possess a basic understanding of AutoCAD equivalent to our [AutoCAD Level I](/courses/autocad-level-1) course.
