## Overview

This course shows you how to use basic macros to automate Excel, putting spreadsheet knowledge you already have to considerably more productive use. It assumes no prior experience with macros or with programming of any kind.

You will write and run macros for everyday tasks, use them to format worksheets quickly, and build interactive worksheets using VBA elements. You will also automate work across multiple worksheets at once and run calculations through VBA, which extends what a spreadsheet can do well beyond formulas. Excel knowledge equivalent to an intermediate course is recommended, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and IF statements.
