# Intro to Financial Modeling

## Overview

Learn to build several types of common financial models while reviewing finance concepts, such as corporate valuation, leveraged buyouts, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate. 

Attendees will review advanced Excel modeling techniques and concepts while completing the following projects in Excel:

- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) valuation model
- Leveraged Buyout (LBO) model
- Merger & Acquisition (M&A) accretion / dilution analysis
- Real Estate Acquisition with Mortgage Financing model

### Prerequisites

Advanced Excel knowledge equivalent to our Advanced Excel for Business or Advanced Excel for Financial Modeling courses is required. Participants should be comfortable with nested IF statements, INDEX-MATCH, advanced navigation, and advanced formula writing.

Prior finance or accounting knowledge is helpful but not required. Attendees with limited financial experience can request our review manual upon registration.
