## Overview

This bootcamp combines Levels 1 and 2 into one course and covers the practical side of modern project management rather than the vocabulary alone. You will work through all five phases, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, and learn to write proposals, build timelines and budgets, keep stakeholders informed, track quality, and actually close out deliverables instead of letting projects trail off.

You will also work across several methodologies, including Waterfall, Critical Path, and Agile, so you can recognize which suits a given project instead of applying one everywhere. The Agile material covers Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming. A full slide deck with exercises comes with the course. It suits anyone moving toward a project management role or working alongside a project team.

We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
