## Overview

Social media offers plenty of ways to put yourself or your brand in front of a large audience, and streaming is one of them. For more than ten years it has been a central part of social media content. Applications such as OBS now let creators build an interactive experience for the people watching. The class introduces the major streaming platforms, namely Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, and goes through the basics of setting up a stream in OBS, which is free.
