Students pick three of the seven design-focused project options and take each one to a finished, live portfolio application. Pacing is left to the student, and AI coding tools carry the build of real web apps where design strategy, AI workflows, responsive UI, database-backed functionality, and live deployment all appear.

Guidance is built into the material, so students can settle on three projects that suit their goals and the direction of their portfolio. The seven choices cover a brand identity starter kit, a motion studio, and a pitch deck designer. Also available are a multi-model brand studio, a social and ad creative studio, an interactive design system, and a portfolio website.

However, you may need to obtain required software. We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
