Having participated in a private training session for myself and co-worker as opposed to a group setting I found it to be personal and extremely helpful.     Great experience with NYIM. The classes were small so there was a lot more attention paid to the students. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions and even had time to show with hands on practice. I will definitely be coming back for more courses.

    A great course to learn the very basic of PowerPoint. The instructor explained in an easy to understand way. No question was left unanswered and he made sure that each student understood the material and was not left behind. The course gave essential tools needed for creating presentations from start to its completion. I am currently applying learned skills at work. Would highly recommend NYIM Training.     Yesterday I took an all day PowerPoint class with Scott. He is a fabulous trainer. I now have an excellent understanding of PP. A booklet is given to each student that reviews all the lessons from the class. This is a tremendous help when you return to your own computer and start to work in this program.     I took a PowerPoint for Business Group Class with Scott. It was one of the best classes I took so far (my second class at NYIM). The entire day was structured into lessons and Scott covered each lesson in detail. The class was very interactive, he asked us questions throughout the day to keep our attention going, and asked refresher questions on any new tips we learned. He had all PowerPoint presentations ready and was really knowledgeable and well prepared. He also gave us a lot of general information related to PPT which was just fun to know and made the class really enjoyable. I highly recommend Scott for any newcomers and will take another refresher course with him.

Microsoft PowerPoint is an information sharing and presentation tool offered as part of the core Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 (cloud-based Microsoft Applications). With Microsoft PowerPoint, you can share information in a variety of forms:

  • Develop and share a multimedia PDF with images, text, and video
  • Give a live talk or presentation using PowerPoint slides
  • Develop and record an online course for asynchronous training

PowerPoint gives you a wide variety of options to engage your audience with multimedia tools. After taking PowerPoint classes at NYIM, you’ll be able to do the following tasks:

  • Make a dynamic presentation with animations, images, and charts
  • Create custom, reusable PowerPoint templates for your brand
  • Add video, voice over and charts and tables from Microsoft Excel
  • Use slide timing and narration features to record a presentation

Our PowerPoint Classes

Students can choose from beginner and advanced PowerPoint classes at NYIM. If you want to master PowerPoint quickly, our two-day intensive bootcamp teaches the PowerPoint Essentials and Advanced course together. For students that want to demonstrate their skills in PowerPoint, NYIM’s certification bundle prepares you for the Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist exam.

Microsoft PowerPoint Corporate & On-site Training

We offer corporate training in PowerPoint to help your teams share, and present information more effectively. You can purchase training vouchers for employees to attend our regularly scheduled classes on their own time, or create a personalized training session at your office. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend training options to accommodate your team.

  • Human Resources - Train your HR staff to create and deliver engaging employee presentations to provide essential information about company policies and procedures, new hire orientation, and other training
  • Sales - Educate your sales team on the best practices for creating sales presentations that convert. Teach the team to develop master templates that can be used to save time and deliver the same proposals to different clients

At NYIM, we can deliver corporate training based on our regularly scheduled classes or provide a custom training program suited to your needs. Each corporate training starts with a discussion with one of our instructors about your training needs. Following the conversation, we’ll develop a training plan for your approval.

We can deliver training onsite at our modern facility in Midtown Manhattan, complete with a computer lab and space for up to 16 employees. For companies in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Jersey City, Newark, and Long Island, we offer on-site training at your location at no additional cost. Our instructors are available to provide training at any location within the USA for an additional travel fee.
