How fast you go is up to you, and what you finish with is three live UX/UI applications for your portfolio, made with AI app development tools. Projects form the spine of this self-paced course: from a range of UX/UI-focused app ideas you choose what to make, then produce tools that function, combining design strategy, research workflows, responsive UI, database-backed functionality, and live deployment.

A survey and insights dashboard, an accessibility audit and annotation studio, an interactive design system and token studio, and a journey map and service blueprint studio are all on the table. So are a portfolio website, a UX portfolio and case-study builder, a research repository and insight synthesizer, a usability test and findings analyzer, an onboarding and microcopy studio, and a design handoff and spec studio.

Coming in, you should already have worked through the UX & UI design and AI courses that make up the AI UX Design package. Comparable hands-on experience with UX/UI workflows, Figma, and AI-assisted app development also qualifies you.

However, you may need to obtain required software. We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
